Meeting called to order @ 7:55 pm by President Ken.

Minutes: 

June Minutes sent to the group. (Not sent snail mail, sorry)

            Motion to approve Minutes as sent.

Treasurers Report:

            Previous Balance:         $539.11

            Transactions:    out       $ 85.00            -- Beer Bust, Hopes, Aids Walk, (Edd Donation)

Old Business:

           

            It was suggested that Carl’s would like up so hold more activities at the bar. 

Next item for the bar will be to have a GET TOGETHER at Carl’s after Reno Pride.

It will be Sat. Aug 14th 4pm – 8pm.  Club to provide food.  Voted to not go over $100.

Nathan will make flyers and Tom and Jason will distribute to bars and Bobby Joe and

Clyde will distribute at Pride Festival.

There was some discussion about some new “group” who is putting a MARCH together. 

Could not determine the validity so we chose not to donate or participate as a club

 

            LB Partner Edd Suddenly passed away this week.  The club voted to approve $50

toward a donation or flowers.

            Per LB, $25 donation made to Hopes and $25 donation to Reno Aids walk

           

            Club voted to reimburse Nathan for cost of supplies for Beer Bust.  Amount of $55.

            During Beer Bust received 2 donations toward cost. Reducing it to $35.

            I am sending receipt to Dean.  This is done.

 

New Business:

           

            Reno Aids Walk is scheduled for August 21st.  Proposal was made to sponsor

members to WALK. Club will reimburse them for their $25 fee.  Our walkers are:

Brian, Dan and Jason.  They need to submit expense to Dean for payment.

They will need to go to www.renoaidswalk.org to fill out the registration. 

The group approved the cost for 3 walkers. Max $75

           

Next Dinner Night Out:

            La Pasta Bistro (Yes It is still open)

            We have reserved 2nd floor.

            Aug 4th (Wednesday) @ 6:30 pm

            Additionally those that wish to will be going to Carl’s Pub afterwards for

Bare Chest Night.

Pot Luck – We will have a TEX MEX grilling theme.

Nathan to put out a menu for contributions.
